Choir

Every Fall and Spring, the choir goes to Districts. At Districts, every singer is rated from 1 to 5. 1 being the best. Each individual can make All-District and upper-class to All-State. There are other schools competing in Districts ranging from the Bootheel of Missouri all the way up to Farmington. Every other year Choir goes on a Showcase Tour. Last year, the choir went to Nashville. Also every year, the Alleluia Chorus is sung and is accompanied by the band annually at Christmas.

Band

Band also has Districts every Fall and Spring. To attend Districts in the Fall, the school has to be a member of Missouri Music Educators Association to attend because they sponsor it. Districts in the Spring is for all schools and MSHAA sponsors it. All of the members of the band can compete for All-District by performing solos. On National Lutheran Schools Week, the elementary and high school bands play together at the kick-off rally. The Band also goes on a Showcase Tour. They go on the opposite year that the Choir goes.
