Saxony Lutheran High School exists to center students on Christ and God’s Word, to strive for excellence in all phases of education, and to prepare students for a life of Christian discipleship using God’s Word as their guide.

Saxony Lutheran High School is built on forty acres located at the I-55 and Hwy. 61 interchange, outside Jackson, MO. The building for Saxony Lutheran was completed in December 2004 by Brockmiller Construction of Farmington, Missouri. Our facilities can accommodate 300 students. In August of 2009, Penzel Construction completed the extension of the northwest and northeast wings.

In keeping with our mission, the spiritual life of the students and staff at Saxony Lutheran High School is a top priority. Daily exploration of the Bible and its lessons are studied together as we begin our day centered on Christ.

SLHS

Saxony has a program titled Showing Love in His Service (SLHS). The purpose of this program is to recognize the many Christian actions and attitudes shown throughout Saxony.

Showing Love In His Service

At the end of the month, students who have been recognized by their teachers as SLHS will receive a special breakfast. They were nominated for a variety of reasons that may include: helping fellow students who are having trouble in class, volunteering to help teachers/custodians after school, being inclusive of all students and helping students who have dropped or spilled things in the hallway.
