Development- Supporting Saxony

Saxony Lutheran High School currently generates revenue from family tuition payments, association church fees and fundraising efforts.  To keep tuition rates affordable, the general operating budget relies on third source income generated from gifts such as memorials, charitable estate gifts that might include will a will bequest, an IRA or annuity beneficiary or trust distribution.

As the dream of a Lutheran high school in the area developed many years ago, Saxony Lutheran High School has been very blessed with a substantial history of giving.

There are many ways to give to Saxony Lutheran High School.  All gifts, regardless of the size, are important to the ministry at Saxony.

Fundraising events and opportunities not only provide additional funds, but offer fellowship and community awareness or our mission.  Saxony is blessed to have many to share their time and talents.

Saxony Lutheran High School is a 501(3)(c) organization; therefore, all donations are tax-deductible.

Key Development Programs

Partners in Discipleship

You can join the many who have supported Saxony Lutheran High School through prayer and financial support by being a Partner in Discipleship with a minimum $1,500 annual gift.  This program helps to “bridge the gap” between what it actually costs to educate each student and the amount we actually receive through tuition, fees and fundraising.

Student Angel Fund

This fund has been established for the purpose of providing tuition assistance above the general tuition assistance guidelines and is intended to be a one- time opportunity offered in extenuating circumstances.  A general tuition assistance fund provides needs-based funds to students meeting eligibility criteria, including sibling assistance.

Vogel Endowment Fund

This student financial aid endowment has been established through a generous gift from Leonard and Inell Vogel.  Individual named endowments can be established as well.

Hertitage Society

Membership in the Saxony Lutheran High School Heritage Society is reserved for those who have included Saxony in their will, trust and/or estate plans, have named Saxony as a beneficiary (whole or partial) of an insurance policy or retirement account, and/or have established an endowment fund for Saxony.
